**Description**

Our **Power Systems Engineer II (Model Engineering)** will help guide the effort to collect information from our transmission owners and market participants to build the data models for MISO’s systems that run, protect, and plan the future of the electric grid.

You will be part of an experienced and diverse team foundational to achieving MISO’s core vision of being the most reliable, value-creating RTO and play a crucial role in setting the direction for the future of the Market Model building process.

As a **Power Systems Engineer II (Model Engineering)** , you will also have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects at MISO to implement a Model Management System, upgrade our Energy Management System, improve the Day-Ahead and Real-Time Market System, and incorporate Distributed Energy Resources into the MISO planning, operations, and market systems.
