Position Summary :
Responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment associated with the Facilities heating and cooling plants and other critical infrastructure within the hospital. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Operating boilers and controlling generation of a reliable and continuous supply of steam for heating hospital buildings, and supplying steam to critical equipment such as sterilizers and food service equipment. Monitoring boiler room to observe operating equipment, meters, and gauges to ensure that operation is in accordance with instructions and established practice.
