About the Role

Power BI Lead - General Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, data models, and reports, turning raw data into actionable business insights. Key responsibilities include utilizing DAX and SQL for data analysis, optimizing data models (Star Schema), and publishing reports via Power BI Service. 


Data Modeling & Transformation:

  • Designed and developed complex data models using Star Schema principles in Power BI Desktop.

  • Utilized Power Query (M Language) to clean, transform, and merge data from multiple sources (SQL, Excel, SharePoint).

  • Created advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and tables for complex business calculations.

  • Visualization & Reporting:

  • Developed interactive dashboards and reports using advanced visuals, including maps, scatter plots, and custom visuals.
