Power BI Developer – Job Description

Job Purpose

The Power BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that transform raw data into meaningful insights. This role partners with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver interactive dashboards, reports, and data models that support data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models aligned with business requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into technical BI solutions.
• Build efficient data models using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query (M).
• Connect, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., SQL databases, data warehouses, APIs, Excel, cloud platforms).
• Optimize report performance, data refresh schedules, and model efficiency.
