Postdoctoral Researcher in Artificial Intelligence for Digital Hearing Health

Seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher in Artificial Intelligence/machine
learning to join the DigiKuulo 2.0 consortium, a large multidisciplinary initiative developing a
next-generation digital ecosystem for hearing and brain health. DigiKuulo 2.0 integrates self-
administered hearing tests, cognitive assessments, eye-tracking and physiological data into an AI-
supported clinical platform designed for real-world healthcare use.
The project brings together Kuopio University Hospital and the University of Eastern Finland with
regional wellbeing services counties and international collaborators. It builds on the TrueHear and
HAHA (Healthy heAring for Healthy Aging) projects and addresses hearing loss as a broader
neurodegenerative and brain health condition.
