Postdoc Position Center for Intelligent Optics
Posted by Academic Positions • Stockholm, Stockholm County, Sweden
About the Role
The Center for Intelligent Optics (CIO) develops advanced optical technologies, including imaging, spectroscopy, and laser ablation methods. Our goal is to bridge these cutting-edge laser technologies with clinical practice, developing solutions that enable accurate and real-time diagnosis and therapies.
Project background
The principal aim of this SNF BRIDGE-funded interdisciplinary project, entitled Patient-specific hydrogelbased corneal augmentation for vision restoration is to restore the vision of patients by using an advanced optical system capable of preparing and processing the cornea.
In this project, the postdoctoral candidates will be responsible to develop an optical coherence tomography (OCT) integrated with a laser ablation system. OCT is responsible for providing real-time visual feedback of the ablation site and controlling the crater depth.
