The pursues basic and applied research in biomechanics, composite mechanics, fluid mechanics, contact mechanics, fracture mechanics and fatigue, material mechanics and paper mechanics. In the applied research, there are strong connections to industry and public actors.
We announce a postdoctoral position within a project funded by European Research Council (ERC) and Swedish e-Science Research Centre (SeRC) where we aim to improve understanding of elastoinertial turbulence at low Reynolds numbers. As part of the project, we now announce a postdoctoral position on numerical high-performance computations of this problem.
The work will be conducted in close collaboration with the Complex Fluids Research Group at KTH. The candidate will also interact with other researchers within SeRC, FLOW, and our international network from ongoing national and EU projects within fluid mechanics, complex fluids and multiphase flow.
