Posted by Aarhus University • Aarhus, Central Denmark Region, Denmark
About the Role
The Department of Agroecology at Aarhus University, Denmark, is offering a postdoctoral position in the effects of climate smart farming measures in Danish arable cropping systems, starting 01-08-2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position will be available for a 2-year period.
You will be part of a research environment focusing on soil management and soil fertility in the context of climate smart agriculture (mitigation, adaptation, and productivity). You will be contributing specifically to the area of cover cropping, crop rotation, and tillage to support climate smart farming. And the main focus of your position will be to measure cropping system effects on nitrous oxide emission and carbon storage, and on soil properties influencing climate resilience and other key ecosystem services. You will work experimentally with already established field experiments including the CENTS long-term experiment on conservation/regenerative agriculture.
