About the Role
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a retired teacher who enjoys travel, railways, football, cricket and exploring new places. I have visited 87 countries and have always enjoyed being active and adventurous.
Following a serious illness, I have lost several fingers and toes, which affects my mobility and dexterity. I use a Zimmer frame and am at risk of falls. I no longer drive and would like support to access the community and continue enjoying my interests.
PURPOSE OF JOB
I am looking for a Personal Assistant to support me in getting out and about, reducing isolation and helping me remain connected to my local community. The role is centred around companionship, community access and supporting me to enjoy activities that interest me.
PLACE OF WORK
Travelling to Cardiff and surrounding areas
HOURS OF WORK
6 hours per week (weekday mornings, starting at 9:00am. No weekends and not Fridays)
