Platform Applications Staff Engineer

THE ROLE:

The AMD PAE team assists customers throughout AMD projects, resolving technical issues and ensuring a seamless transition to mass production.

THE PERSON:

Has knowledge with Notebook/AIO/Desktop/Workstation system design and issue debug. Has good communication skills and be able to work both independently and in a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Notebook/AIO/Desktop/Workstation platform customer issues debug/support.
• Leading design reviewing process to support customer Q&A.
• Visiting customers for training/issue triage.
• Debugging issues found during the process, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs.
• Working closely with supporting technical teams
• Engaging in other software/hardware modeling frameworks.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Possess 5-10 years experiences in Client Notebook platform design.
