Piping Designer

The Opportunity LDIS, a Tetra Tech company is adding a Piping Designer to our Piping team based in Arvada, CO. Position Summary We are seeking a Piping Designer who will prepare technical data for layouts, construction, and operation of oil and gas field, refineries, gas compressor stations, chemical plants, and process piping systems. The role requires 8+ years of continuous drafting and design experience and involves independent work while collaborating with clients to achieve project goals. Essential Job Functions Responsible for 3D piping and equipment models of entire projects; optimizes piping design with some supervision. Drafts P&ID redlines, adds redlines to already developed P&IDs, and develops high level from scratch P&IDs. Self‐sufficient in generating project deliverables (isometrics, piping plans, plot plans, MTOs) and reviews prior to submitting for checking.
