Pipe Welders

The Role

Our client, a specialist in the fabrication and welding of pressure pipes, pressure vessels and structural steelwork, is seeking experienced Pipe Welders for an immediate start based in South Brisbane. You will be working within a workshop environment, completing high-quality pressure welding to industry standards, interpreting technical drawings and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication or 1st Class Welder
• Proven experience in pressure pipe and pressure vessel welding
• Ability to weld in all positions (including ASME Section IX 6G)
• Experience with STT (Surface Tension Transfer) welding
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and P&ID
• Experience working with manufacturing jigs
• Successful completion of weld tests
• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening
