About the Role
Summary You will serve as a PHYSICAL SCIENCE TECH (INSTRUCTOR) in the RADIOLOGICAL SUPPORT DIVISION, RADIOLOGICAL CONTROLS OFFICE of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will plan, develop, coordinate, and evaluate the adequacy and efficiency of programs to provide knowledge and experience on health physics and applied radiological controls. You will review written tests and surveil practical tests administered by other shops and codes for accuracy in grading and adherence to established policies and procedures. You will recommend and promote changes to procedures used to improve effectiveness of training. You will train students on local and Naval Sea Systems requirements, written reviews, and practical abilities tests associated with training.
