About the Role
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination and supervision of all warehouse and transportation activities
- Monitor inventory levels, identify stock discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Liaise with procurement, production and sales teams to ensure seamless flow of goods
- Oversee the performance of third-party logistics providers and manage their service quality
- Analyze distribution data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Lead and develop a team of warehouse and logistics personnel
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a physical distribution or logistics management role, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG industry
