Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Laurel, MD.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00am – 3:00pm; every other as assigned
Job Responsibilities:
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryOther Duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED or equivalentPhlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
