About the Role

Position Overview
This is a support position within the pharmacy department. The incumbent will provide assistance to the Centre’s pharmacists in the technical and clerical functions of the pharmacy. Activities will be performed under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Experience
Experience working with pharmacy computer programs.
One-year experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician in a hospital setting is preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Complete Grade 12 education, Manitoba standards required.
Graduate of a recognized pharmacy assistant program or equivalent required.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
Pharmacy Assistant Certificate from a recognized Program preferred.
Qualifications and Skills
