Working in a secure environment under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician, you’ll help prepare and distribute medications using automated and computerized systems.As a Pharmacy Assistant, your duties include medication preparation, repackaging, administrative and customer service tasks such as answering phones, assisting customers, and data entry. Other responsibilities include accurate stocking of medication carts, receiving Pharmacy Department orders, accurate record keeping, communicating with nursing staff, and delivery of pharmaceuticals throughout the hospital.
