Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A hospital with 60 beds is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for an immediate start on a contract basis. This opportunity offers a consistent day-shift schedule of seven days on followed by seven days off, with 10-hour shifts running from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday through Tuesday rotation.
Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
- Provide clinical consultation to physicians and nurses
- Assist with medication management and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems to support pharmacy services
