Requirements Bachelor of Pharmacy and professional registration with the relevant pharmacy council 23 years pharmacy experience; managed healthcare exposure advantageous Knowledge of clinical protocols, ICD-10 coding, and medication risk management principles Core Responsibilities Authorise chronic medication telephonically and via protocols, including Prescribed Minimum Benefits Conduct retrospective reviews of chronic medication claims Manage escalations and resolve complex medication queries Liaise with healthcare providers, patients, and third-party partners Provide guidance on drug utilisation review (DUR), including substitutions, efficacy, and interactions Compile reports and support clinical audits and process improvements Contribute to clinical protocol review and managed care product development Maintain productivity standards and ensure effective cross-department communication
