PCB Layout Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Understanding the requirements of the Design team and Mechanical Team and implement them in the PCB Layout.
• Complete PCB Design from scratch to Gerber review and release, ensuring standards are met.
• Interacting with Fabrication and Assembly house for PCB Fab and assembly status.
• Involved in PCB layout review with customers and with PCB manufacturers.
• DDR and non-DDR study with different combination of DR (trace width/spacing/length), different total layer allow, different placement or location on package/board, etc.
• PCH study with different combination of DR (trace width/spacing/length), different total layer allow, different placement or location on package/board, etc.
• Misc. CAD request (modifying/swapping traces, relocate/adding component, etc.)
• Ad-hoc quick task/study
• BOM creation/modification, create schematic symbol, create footprint, etc.
• Actual routing of DDR, non-DDR...
