Payroll Officer

About the company/role:
Our client is a leading manufacturer of food ingredients in Australia, specializing in coating systems, seasonings, marinades, and functional blends for the food industry. The company supports major food manufacturers and foodservice providers with innovative ingredient solutions. They are seeking a Payroll Officer to join their team on a short-term basis (6-weeks). The working schedule is Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm and the location is Wetherill Park.
 
Duties:

• Project remediation for a new system upgrade
• Ensure compliance with awards, EBAs, Fair Work, ATO, and Superannuation requirements
• Reconcile payroll information
• Support employees and answer any queries
• Support HR and finance with payroll reporting and documentation

Skills/experience:

• Previous experience working in a payroll role is essential
