We are working with a leading global organization based in Mumbai, India, which is looking for a Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll operations. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across payroll and statutory functions, while managing a high-performing team.

Summary of the role and key responsibilities

• Lead the payroll team to deliver timely, accurate, and compliant payroll for a large and diverse workforce, including blue-collar employees.
• Oversee payroll transactions: new hires, exits, salary changes, bonuses, overtime, flexi-benefits, and full & final settlements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Minimum Wages, Income Tax, etc.) and drive process improvements.
• Manage income tax compliance, including TDS, Form 16, audits, and statutory reporting.
