About the Role
Join a growing manufacturing organization as a Payroll & Benefits Manager in Brampton, Ontario. Oversee Canadian and U.S. payroll operations and benefits administration in this on-site role.
This position is a 3-month contract with the potential to become permanent. You will manage payroll for approximately 1,500 employees across Canada and the U.S., while also ensuring compliance with regulations in multiple jurisdictions. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader eager to take ownership and support a payroll team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage payroll for 1,500 employees in Canada and the U.S.
• Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and state payroll regulations
• Administer employee benefits and pension programs
• Lead payroll team with 1 direct report and 2 indirect reports
• Review payroll reconciliations and audits for accuracy
