Payroll Accountant

As the payroll specialist, you will be responsible for processing payroll, filing payroll-related returns, and performing payroll-related month-end close activities. You will work closely with all departments, including Human Resources and Hospitality (tasting room and restaurants).

ESS FUNCTIONS

• Process bi-weekly payroll
• Prepare and maintain payroll records; compiling payroll and benefit data from source documents; inputting into system, verifying, investigating, and reconciling system output
• Prepare all required payroll tax returns and payments
• Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure all new hire and employee changes are accurately captured in the payroll system
• Participate in month end payroll accounting close, creating journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts
