Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Accounting Officer to support timely payroll closure, ensure accurate payroll accounting, and maintain compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly payroll accounts closure and ensure timely posting of payroll files
• Support country offices in reconciling payroll-related general ledger accounts
• Act as focal point for payroll accounting queries and coordinate with payroll operations
• Ensure correct mapping of payroll elements to the general ledger
• Monitor and clear payroll suspense accounts (salary hold, advances, etc.)
• Liaise with internal teams (Finance, Treasury, HR/Payroll systems) to ensure accuracy and completeness of payroll postings
