Parametric Amplifier R&D Engineer

Our innovative start-up client in the Netherlands is now searching for a Parametric Amplifier R&D Engineer to take ownership of the technical development and performance improvement of our Josephson Travelling Wave Parametric Amplifiers. The role will involve pushing the performance of qubit readout amplifiers to their physical limits by providing the technical direction of the full development loop. The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team, including qubit and TWPA designers and experimental engineers and will collaborate closely with other teams.

Required skills for the Paramteric Amplifier R&D Engineer will include:

• Knowledge of qubit readout amplification, TWPAs, IPAs
• Ability to work in a fast paced R&D environment
• Hands-on experience with the development cycle - design, simulation, fabrication etc
• Strong communication skills
