About the Role
- Inspect and monitor all surface preparation and coating application activities on plant equipment, piping, structural steel, pressure vessels, and storage tanks across the QAFCO fertilizer complex
- Verify surface preparation standards (Sa 2.5 / SSPC-SP10) including blast cleaning, profile measurements, and cleanliness levels prior to coating application
- Monitor wet and dry film thickness (WFT/DFT), holiday testing, adhesion testing, and coating curing in accordance with approved painting procedures and manufacturer specifications
- Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and coating Material Data Sheets (MDS); ensure coating systems meet QAFCO and client specifications
