Painter

Under the immediate supervision of the Paint and Specialty Supervisor, the painter applies paint using paint equipment, brushes or spray guns on the surface of cabinet doors and accessories.

Required profile

Methodical, self-starter, enjoys working with tools and machinery. Ability to work under pressure, while promoting teamwork. Ability to distinguish colors.

• Choose appropriate paint or paint mixture;
• Operate equipment to clean, wash, strip, sand, fill recesses or prepare objects to be painted or coated with lacquer or other protective or decorative coatings;
• Operate automatic spray, dip or drip painting equipment or other mechanical painting processes;
• Operate hand-held spray guns to paint cabinet doors and apply protective or decorative coatings;
• Perform touch-ups with brushes;
• Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protection equipment;
