Packing Operator - Electrical Trade

Sugar Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Packing Operator to join our team in a permanent full-time role at our Mackay Port Packing facility. Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll be a key member of our production team, responsible for ensuring efficient operation across packing, warehouse and despatch areas, while also providing maintenance support as required.  

This is primarily an operator focused role, where you'll be hands-on with packaging machinery and daily production activities. Your electrical trade skills will be called on for:

• Responding to equipment breakdowns
• Supporting our annual shutdown (2 weeks/year), where your focus will be fully electrical
• Performing routine maintenance, typically one shift per week or fortnight
• Assisting with occasional small scale electrical projects
