PACKAGING MANAGER

Pay range: $100,000 to $110,000 Responsibilities

Follow up with any and all safety issues and lead the packaging department’s safety initiatives with the goal of reducing incidents and accidents to zero. Work with the team to ensure communication lines remain open and any follow up is conducted quickly and properly; Work with all teams including JHSC, planning, quality control, maintenance, scheduling, logistics, operations teams etc. to ensure the smooth operation of the plant; Lead Continuous Improvement activities and implementation of Lean tools; Monitor and report daily and weekly packaging results, follow up with labor, equipment and quality issues daily; Plans and manages the departmental budget; Assists in the scheduling and planning team’s development of production schedules to maintain appropriate inventory of finished inventory; Assist in the development of new formats and SKUs.
