Position Title: Packaging Engineering Intern
Department: NPI
Reports to: Packaging Engineer
Position Summary:
The Packaging Engineering Intern will support the development of packaging standards, documentation, and processes for automotive components. This role is key in assisting the Packaging Engineer to establish structured workflows and tools that will guide packaging activities across the organization, while also contributing to waste reduction and cost-saving initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting the packaging development procedure from concept to implementation.- Collaborate in defining roles and responsibilities of packaging stakeholders.- Help design and document packaging validation methods and criteria.- Support the creation of packaging test protocols (e.g., drop test, compression, vibration).- Create templates and formats for packaging specifications and validation reports.- Participate in waste reduction and packaging cost optimization ...
