Packaging Assistant Engineer/ Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete packaging development process, including drawing, design creation, prototype development, and performance testing.
• Prepare technical specifications, inspection and test requirements, material requisitions, and packaging documentation, ensuring conformance to all codes.
• Collaborate with the project team and vendors to ensure that packaging designs meet manufacturability and customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot new and existing packaging problems (designs, materials, and processes) and provide creative, timely, and cost-effective solutions.
• Test packaging systems and components for new and existing products.
• Evaluate and select packaging suppliers/vendors, periodically conducting vendor reviews.
• Manage multiple packaging projects simultaneously and identify opportunities for cost saving initiatives in packaging materials, transportation, and storage.
