About the Role
**Job Title: Order Picker**
**Job Description**
Join one of the largest logistics companies in the world, known for its extensive network of warehouses, including over 50 in Canada. This position is based in a warehouse that supports the distribution of Maple Leaf products across Ontario, handling shipments from production facilities to retail warehouses. You will play a crucial role in case picking orders using RF scanners and building pallets for shipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Attend shift meetings and sign out RF scanner and Dock Stocker equipment.
+ Use RF scanner to locate and case pick orders, such as boxes of bacon or chicken wings.
+ Build full pallets by physically placing items on them, with weights ranging from 5 to 30 lbs.
+ Stage completed pallets and move to the next order.
+ Initially focus on case picking, with training on reach truck for high-level picking and receiving tasks after 3-4 months.
