Oracle Database Administrator

Position: Database Administrator - Senior

Client: Public Sector

Type: Contract (Initial term of 12+ month with possibility of extension)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide scripting skills in SQL, VBScript, Python and PowerShell.

Provide technical expertise in the resolution of problems which may be very diverse and broad in scope; and to provide technical leadership and co-ordination for related mid-sized projects or parts of large and complex projects.

Complex database management, patching/updating, and monitoring.

Oracle RAC installation/configuration/administration on Exadata or Solaris/Linux.

Oracle 19c multitenant environment, exadata on premise and Cloud.

Oracle upgrade from 12c to 19c.

Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM 13.4) report creation / customization. Knowledge of DB2 and SQL servers.
