Oracle Database Administrator

Summary/Objective:

As a Database Administrator at Tideworks and in Carrix IT, you will be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of information databases used to operate applications, solutions, and systems. In your role, you will partner with application and infrastructure teams to ensure that database performance is not hindered, and performance standards adhere to service level agreements. As part of your day-to-day work, you will implement best practices to meet technical needs and resolve issues. 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Review data backups daily and take corrective action in case of failures.
• Implement and maintain databases as needed to meet client demands.
• Work closely with developers to ensure their technical needs are met.
