SUMMARY
The operator will be responsible for the manual off-loading and reloading of examination cargo from marine shipping containers.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Use lift truck equipment and attachments (slip-sheet, carton clamp, drum clamp, appliance clamp, etc) to off load marine container cargoAssist in manual cargo handling as requiredConvey off-loaded cargo into warehouse storage and stage for CBSA Border Service Officer (BSO) examinationAssists BSO’s with conducting the examination of cargo by lifting, sorting and opening packaging as requestStage cargo for reloading and assist manual cargo handlers as required.Timely and accurate completion of cargo handling reports, variances reports and hold/detention reportsHealth and Safety compliance in accordance with federal and provincial regulations and company policies Daily warehouse housekeep...
