About the Role
As a Manufacturing Specialist, you are responsible for supporting the efficient and effective operation of our processing equipment. You also support leading and mentoring your team. Your presence on the production floor is the key leadership influence of the largest segment of our site population and you must be ready to step up in a variety of unexpected situations. You are a full partner to the shift manager as the first rung of escalation of any issue that can lead to injury, lost productivity, or product quality. Since you are generally closest to an issue, you will often be the one to coordinate the resolution of issues that you discover or are alerted to. When required, escalation issues to the shift manager, production manager, or higher.
This role is 25% strategic and 75% tactical in nature.
