Operations supervisor

Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join the Deal Party, Port Elizabeth team.
Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all daily yard activities, including loading, offloading, storage, and dispatch.
Manage the flow and positioning of vehicles, containers, and materials within the yard.
Ensure accurate stock control and proper storage of materials and equipment.
Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and transport teams to meet operational requirements.
Supervise yard staff, drivers, and operators to ensure productivity and discipline.
Allocate tasks, manage shifts, and monitor performance.
Provide on-the-job training and ensure staff compliance with procedures and safety standards.
Enforce company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations (OHS Act) and company safety standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
