Operations Supervisor-1

Responsibilities

This frontline supervisor position supports the FedEx Express Safety Above All Culture and manages day‑to‑day sort operations and assigned Cargo Handlers (CH) staff within a station. The Operations Supervisor leads and guides employees in proper package handling, routing and recovery of potential service failures within the station sort function. Responsibilities include oversight of all CH functions, directing work activities, mentoring/coaching/training employees, and ensuring administrative processes comply with FXE policies, procedures and government regulations.

Qualifications

• College degree.
• At least 2 years of FedEx sort operations or senior‑level hourly role experience, or at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a related industry.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
