Operations Specialist

Summary About the Position: Serves as the Current Operations Officer with responsibility for the execution of US Army Japan contingency plans and Real World Missions. Conduct mission analysis and special studies for the G3 that encompass the USARJ Staff and Direct Reporting Units which results in Standard Operating Procedures and or written guidance for all Army Units in Japan by meeting deadlines set by Commanding General or Chief of Staff. Responsibilities Responsible for the operational missions involving use of soldiers, civilians and installation resources. Implement higher headquarters directed exercises and/or operations and provides instruction as required to participating staff and units. Publish operations orders and associated memorandums and letters of instruction. Participate in installation and higher command exercises, to include mobilization, disaster simulations, and force protection.
