Operations Administrator, Infrastructure

The Operations Administrator, Infrastructure will provide second- and third-line support for all global servers, storage, operating systems, virtualization, and directory services systems. The role-holder will perform deployment, operations and maintenance activities for all global servers and storage systems. Thie individual will enforce standards, policies, and procedures related to the operation of all servers, storage, and directory services systems in all locations.
Main responsibilities:
Track Server Systems tickets raised in the Firm's help desk system
Build and configure Microsoft Server operating systems, including hypervisors and virtual machines
Patch Microsoft Windows operating system
Take part in the global follow‑the‑sun support model
Assist with occasional weekend activities; for example, server and storage installation or maintenance, and assist other teams with their weekend tasks
