Operational Resilience Director

The role

• Director-level role within a central EMEA Operational Resilience team
• First line accountability for the operational resilience framework, policies and standards
• Ownership of key pillars including testing and business continuity
• Harmonisation of UK and European regulatory requirements, including DORA
• Senior engagement with Managing Directors and business heads, leading workshops and decisions independently
• Line management responsibility within a UK-based team, working closely with colleagues in Europe

About you

• Demonstrable Director-level experience in Operational Resilience within banking
• Proven ability to operate credibly at MD level
• Strong working knowledge of resilience concepts (e.g. important business services, impact tolerances, testing, service mapping)
• Operational mindset, focused on embedding and oversight rather than programme delivery
