Operational Excellence Lead

A PE backed, mid-market, services business requires an interim Operational Excellence Lead / Strategy Consultant to undertake the following critical position.

Job Specification

• Work alongside departmental heads across the business to map end‑to‑end processes such as customer onboarding, product/services/tech installation, invoicing, and supplier management, etc.
• Diagnose operational bottlenecks, control gaps and failure points using data, stakeholder interviews, etc.
• Design and document future‑state processes, KPIs and controls, applying consulting‑grade methods (Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping, RACI, etc.) but in a pragmatic, business‑friendly way.
• Build business cases for proposed changes, quantifying impact on cost, service levels, SLAs, customer satisfaction, etc, and present recommendations to ExCo and PE.
• Plan the implementation of agreed initiatives.
