Operating Systems, Data & Analytics Lead – Lumber

Description

This is a business‑owned, enterprise role accountable for defining, governing, and scaling operating data standards across the Lumber business. As the single accountable owner, this role ensures operating metrics are consistently defined, applied at the source, and trusted across all mills to support strong operational decision‑making, reliability excellence, and future advanced analytics and AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and enforce standard operating metrics across five domains: Sawmill, Planermill, Kilns, Shipping/Scheduling, and Lumber Mill Capacity.
• Define metric definitions, business assumptions, and logic (including absolute vs. normalized metrics).
• Ensure standards are applied at the data source.
• Serve as the primary conduit between mill operations and IT, BI, and AI teams.
