Position: Export Operator - Ocean Freight
Location: Stockport
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 DOE

Our client, a well-established international freight forwarding business are seeking an experienced Ocean Freight Export Operator to join their Manchester operations team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage ocean export shipments from booking through to completion within a cradle-to-grave operation
Coordinate shipments with customers, shipping lines, overseas agents, and suppliers
Handle all operational documentation and shipping processes
Monitor shipment progress and provide regular customer updates
Arrange and process customs requirements where required
Maintain responsibility for job file profitability and revenue generation
Ensure accurate job costing and P&L management
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and overseas partners
