Observability Engineer

Job Description:

Ensures full application and infrastructure observability by designing and maintaining dashboards, log pipelines, metrics, and alerting systems. Works with a variety of open-source and cloud-native observability solutions (like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, OpenTelemetry, or cloud-native stacks), adapting to the evolving technology stack.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, logging pipelines, and metrics collection systems.

• Integrate observability into backend, infrastructure, and container-based services.

• Improve visibility into system performance, errors, and reliability.

• Define and refine meaningful SLIs, SLOs, and health metrics.

• Tune alert thresholds to reduce noise and improve on-call response.
