An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly and compassionate team at Whanganui Accident and Medical (WAM) – a leading urgent and primary care provider committed to delivering high-quality, patient‑centred care to our local community.
About Us
WAM is a subsidiary of the Whanganui Regional Health Network (WRHN), established in 2003 to enhance community access to urgent and after‑hours healthcare. Situated on the Whanganui Hospital campus, right alongside the Emergency Department (ED), WAM plays a vital role in creating a ‘one‑stop shop’ for urgent medical needs.
We provide urgent and primary care services from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week, including public holidays, in a well‑supported, collaborative environment.
