Role Purpose
This position is within Americas’ Regional Engineering and will be part of the development of new products and processes with an emphasis on speed of innovation into manufacturing through effective Change Management, Design for Manufacturing, Cost Modeling, and alignment to our global Product Quality Architecture. This position focuses on leading the industrialization of products developed through our IPP projects.
Key Responsibilities- Working with project team members, develop and / or improve processes using DMAIC and sound statistical methods to ensure process performance meets the level required to meet cost, capacity, and service level requirements for new products.
- Lead the cost performance effort in projects, owning the cost model and ensuring product cost targets are met at product launch
- Author process improvement capability plans. Complete technical reports for internal publication.
