- Minimum 5 years of experience in US mortgage UW
- Experience working in Non QM Underwriting
- Ability to take final UW decision on loan files
- Expertise in 4 Cs review, income calculation (Salaried/Self-Employment/Rental/Other income), Credit, Collateral and Capacity
- Evaluate applications & verify supporting documents
- Ensure process accuracy & SOP compliance
- Understanding of UW Guidelines along with Credit Exceptions and Compensating Factors
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance/Business preferred)
- 5 mortgage underwriting experience
- Strong knowledge of RESPA, TRID, FHA, VA, USDA regulations
- Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with night shifts & target-driven work
