About the Role

 Description JOB PURPOSE: The incumbent will be responsible to examine the physical properties of materials and components to detect corrosion, cracks, flaws and other imperfections on aircraft and aircraft parts. Conduct radiographic, penetrant, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle tests on metal parts (to the level of his/her certification) to determine if parts meet Non-Destructive Testing specifications.Pay Rate: $32-35/hr. Duration: PermanentSUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for the certification and/or inspections of aeronautical products as may be assigned and within their scope of authority
Carries out procedures contained in the Maintenance Control Manual:
Reviews test orders to determine type of test requested, test procedures to follow, and part acceptability criteria
